Far Eastern University (FEU) was founded in 1928 by Dr. Nicanor Reyes along with professors from the University of Philippines. It started with just the Institute of Accountancy, then expanded into other fields to become the Institute of Accounts, Business and Finance (IABF).
In 1933, IABF merged with Far Eastern College to form today’s FEU University. Under the leadership of Dr. Reyes, FEU experienced rapid growth in the 1930s-1940s.
Today, FEU has over 20 colleges offering more than 45 undergraduate and graduate programs, including Economics and Business Administration, Education, Engineering and Technology, Law, Dentistry, Medicine, Arts and Sciences, Tourism and Hospitality, etc.
With almost 100 years of continuous development, FEU has affirmed its position as one of the leading private universities in the Philippines, producing thousands of outstanding graduates who contribute positively to society.
